Our aviation customers know from experience that the cheapest engine is not the one that is overhauled or repaired for the least money, but the one that provides the lowest cost per hour of flight or month of ownership.
At Norvic we pride ourselves on delivering first-class work at prices and timescales that are realistic for you and us. With our comprehensive warranty and highly developed quality control systems, the real value for you is that our workmanship and completion dates are never in doubt.
Years of know-how: One key reason we are so confident about quality and turnaround times is our continuity of high-calibre people. The total company service of our staff comes to nearly 150 years, with senior managers and engineers all having been in the business for over 25 years. This continuity means our people operate as a highly trained team-which translates into quality work you can rely on.
Norvic’s owners remain committed to continuing to invest heavily in the business to ensure our customers are provided the best quality, service and warranty. We have a fresh approach – a commitment to customer service and, most importantly, delivery times. The company’s determination to deliver excellence is a driving force of which Norvic’s people are justifiably proud
We have some 19 engineers and support staff, with most based in our Engine Shop in St Neots, Cambridgeshire.
We are proud to offer training to Norvic’s high standards through our Skilled Apprenticeship Progamme. We continue to invest in our staff and in our future.
Nobody wants false promises about turnaround times. We are committed to providing an honest turnaround time when asked. It is important, particularly for commercial operators, that they know how long a job is likely to take.
With 50 years of experience between them, our management team set Norvic’s high standards of technical capability and workmanship.
I tried calling this morning (forgetting you have a deserved Easter break) to say test flight was completed yesterday – all good.
Just a short message to say “thank you very much” to the Norvik team for getting Us airborne as quickly as could be.
The issues and limitations we faced were frustrating, but the result looks good and hopefully so for some years.
We are grateful for your kind, considerate, and quality support.; Very much appreciated, thank you.
Joe / United Kingdom

Norvic’s excellent service has allowed FTE to steadily increase the number of flying hours on Lycoming engines over the years – in 2017 alone we’ve surpassed the astonishing mark of 20,000 Flight Hours. This is only possible due to Norvic’s fast turnaround time, their first-rate work on overhauls, and the availability to procure and prepare additional engines to add to our current engine pool. FTE always aims for excellence and is proud to count on Norvic’ support to achieve that goal.
Daniel Saraiva / FTE’s CAMO/Part 145 Accountable Manager Flight Training Europe, Spain
As another year goes by we are into 2018. I want to say thank you on behalf of our Falcon Flying Services Group – EFG Flying School, Surrey & Kent Flying Club and our customers. The service you have provided in the past few years has been EXCELLENT, on time (a great bonus for our Flying Schools. The Standard of your Engine & Cylinder Overhauls is as good as Lycoming Factory standards and we are very happy using your engines and Cylinder Overhaul facility.

Stapleford Flying Club is a privately owned company established over 50 years ago and currently hasa fleet of 40 combined Piper and Cessna aircraft. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Norvic for over 20 years, in the past 9 years, overhauling our Cessna and Piper fleet of engines. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your dedicated team for your valued support over this time. The efficiency, expertise and high standard of workmanship is a credit to your staff. Our engines are always fitted in around our tight maintenance requirements and we are kept fully informed of the work in progress. Timely delivery completes a faultless service. An early upfront cost means you always know the full price, with no hidden extras. The competitive prices also keep us very happy. The aftercare support and warranty scheme is also excellent. Particular thanks to the support of Richard, Malik and Jon. I am very happy with Norvic looking after our aircraft. Please pass on our thanks to all the team.

Royal Jordanian Air Academy has a long-standing relationship with Norvic, they had been overhauling
our engines since 2011 and never let us down. Their attention to detail, quality, and trained staff, has
ensured that we would be satisfied with the result of receiving a high quality engine overhaul.
Capt. Mohammad Khawaldeh, Director General / Royal Jordanian Air Academy, Amman, Jordan
Every year we send our customers’ Lycoming and Continental piston engines to Norvic for repairs and overhaul and we do not intend to change this. The reasons are the high quality standard you continuously maintain, you always meet the quoted delivery time, great quality-price ratio. All the Norvic overhauled engines achieved TBO without problems
Valentin Mogos / Aviotrade Service, Bucharest, Romania
We have used Norvic Aero Engines team for more than twenty years.
The quality and service is beyond question, Norvic have performed so much work for us that it is nearly impossible to quantify, we have never had any issues. Norvic offer a great warranty, but we have never had to call on it and they will be in business long after your warranty has expired.
Ian Chaplin / General Aero Services Ltd, England
With Norvic under new ownership, I have found that they offer good service, great quality and excellent value for money. These they offer without compromise and with very pleasing turnaround times.
I am therefore very pleased to recommend Norvic and the excellent technical backup they provide.
Andrew Butler
Norvic has been overhauling our engines for some 20 years, and we’ve been more than satisfied with their standard of work and their prices. They go out of their way to be helpful, especially in meeting tight timescales. Whether it’s shockload or other repairs, Norvic does a good job for us and delivers on time.
Les Scattergood / Sherburn Engineering, Sherburn Airfield, Leeds
Since 1986 I have had over 30 engines overhauled by Norvic and they are my ‘preferred’ overhauler. Some of my current fleet still have their Norvic engines fitted and I have many thousands of hours ‘sitting’ behind their workmanship! I have a great deal of confidence in Norvic engineers and their engines and would not hesitate to recommend their services. Two of my existing Piper Archer rental fleet had their engines overhauled last year—this was their first overhaul, both aircraft having been with me since new, and both aircraft are running as ‘sweet’ as when they were new!
Norvic’s strength comes from their combined workforce experience, which gives consistent quality, and their ability to deliver within a time frame. My aircraft cost me money while they are grounded and Norvic recognise this and have often extracted us from difficult situations with either technical support or simply sending a van at a time when we need it!
Derick Gunning / Modern Air Self-Fly Rental, Fowlmere Aerodrome, Royston, Herts
www.modair.co.uk/We were absolutely delighted by the quite outstanding contribution made by Norvic in sourcing the spares, dismantling the engine and to render it serviceable in a very impressive and tight timescale. Needless to say, the aeroplane completed around 30 hours of flying during the ‘Iberian Adventure’ and this was only possible due to the magnificent efforts expended by Norvic, in conjunction with Bill Maltby and our own home team.
Terry Holloway / Group Support Executive The Marshall Group of Companies The Airport, Cambridge
Regarding our engine on our Robin, well let me tell you “fantastic” fly’s really well starts with just three pumps of priming, thank you for a great service and back up, I will have no problem in recommending you.
Steve Baker / G.GAOH
We finally completed installation of this engine and performed airtest-It started 1st crank over and ran smooth from start to full power with better than book figures in flight so just a note to say ‘thank you’ to the team.
Derick Gunning / Modern Air Self-Fly Rental, Fowlmere Aerodrome, Royston, Herts
www.modair.co.uk/I have flown the Cessna with your engine. It flies really good. At 1000 AGL (1600 QNH) the IAS is 80 kt @ 2100 rpm. The performance would have been even better if the prop was new. Everyone is pleased with the a/c performance: the pilots and technicians.
Piotr Niepsuj
Having spent 5,000 hours over a ten year period building my aircraft, it is comforting to know so much care has gone into building me such a good engine. Please accept my grateful thanks and extend them to your workshop team.
John Edser Ownerm / RV-6A powered by Norvic Experimental
Reliability, price, product knowledge, and assistance with shipping, are but to name a few of the many reasons why I consider NORVIC to be superior.
It is a reflection of your very high standards and your staff who up-hold your company vision that make NORVIC what it is today and I just wanted to say thank you!
Brian Michael / Blazek Aircraft Maintenance Manager
I really believe that your engines are a good alternative for factory overhauled !!
