Engines

Warranty on overhauled and exchange engines is 24 months or 1,000 hours (whichever comes first) on labour with parts as warranted by individual manufacturers. The warranty period runs from the date of completion of work at our facility.

Warranty on repaired engines is 12 months or 500 hours (whichever comes first) on labour with parts used in the repair as warranted by individual manufacturers. The warranty period runs from the date of completion of work at our facility.

Warranty on Overhauled cylinders is 12 months or 500 hours whichever occurs first. The warranty period runs from the date of completion of work at our facility.

Short Engine – Waiver

Norvic Aero Engines Ltd warrants the labour and parts fitted up to the point of completion at our facility by Norvic Aero Engines Ltd. No liability is accepted for any labour or parts used to complete the engine neither will any liability be accepted for the satisfactory running of the engine after completion save as may be directly attributable to the Norvic Aero Engines Ltd labour and parts.

Airframe ‘In-house’ components

Warranty is 100 hours or 6 months (whichever comes first) on Norvic Aero Engines Ltd labour with parts as warranted by individual manufacturers. The Warranty period runs from the date of completion of work at our facility.

Externally Sourced Components

In accordance with Manufacturer and Sellers terms & conditions.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

Norvic Aero Engines Ltd will repair or replace, at its option, any part or component supplied or fitted by Norvic Aero Engines Ltd which, in the opinion of the Parts Manufacturer, is defective, provided that such part or component has been returned to a Norvic Aero Engines Ltd nominated facility, transport paid, within the Warranty Period together with a written notice specifying in reasonable detail the alleged defect. Charges for third party repairs will not be accepted unless prior authorisation in writing is given by Norvic Aero Engines Ltd and agreed with the parts manufacturer or supplier.

The repair or replacement of any part or component thereof shall not extend the warranty period.

This warranty shall not apply to parts or components if such parts or components have been improperly installed, adjusted, stored, maintained, handled, repaired or altered after delivery or if such parts or components have been operated contrary to current manufacturers recommendations, service letters and bulletins. This warranty does not apply to parts or materials supplied by others including, without limitation, parts such as magnetos, starters, alternators and turbo chargers which have been purchased direct from a manufacturer or supplier other than Norvic Aero Engines Ltd.

This warranty shall be in lieu of any other warranty, express or implied, including but not limited to, any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose which warranties are hereby excluded. In no event shall Norvic Aero Engines Ltd be liable for consequential or incidental damage or for economic loss of any nature, whether arising in contract or in tort. The sole and exclusive remedy against Norvic Aero Engines Ltd shall be for the repair or replacement of parts or components thereof, in accordance with the conditions of this Warranty.

All customers unreservedly and irrevocably agree to accept our goods and/or services (engines/components) as delivered to them at our Engine Shop, Levellers Lane, St Neots, UK. English Law is the only remedy open and available to all customers residing outside the UK. Norvic Aero Engines Ltd, at its discretion, can arrange shipment of a customer’s delivered engines and/or components at customer’s cost and in doing so, Norvic Aero Engines Ltd will merely be acting as an Agent for the overseas customer. Such arrangements and costs will be paid by the customer for such shipment.

These conditions and this contract shall be subject to and construed in accordance with English law and each party agrees to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
